Inspiration is everywhere. Take a moment and close your eyes and take a deep breath, emptying the mind. Now when you open them up again, notice the details of your surroundings. The colors, the shapes, the thickness of the lines that create an object. How about the graining patterns of the trees, the stippling effect of all the grains of sand. What textures are around you? Maybe the lighting is changing and offering the various shadows around objects. What colors are these shadows or silhouettes against? What opacity do they offer? What abstract shape do they give off as the daylight changes? Maybe what you are looking at is winter. The white blanket of layered snow covering the earth, creating spatial voids against that beautiful modern brick building. Take into consideration the space, the scale and the large blockings of color. Breathe. The world is your perspective.
